Last year I found myself unemployed and had always had the desire to work for myself so decided to set up GRF Associates.

I didn’t know where to start, so I got in touch with Simon at ‘Get me Branded’. He was amazing at giving me some focus and direction. After many coffees and discussions, he got a real feel for my business (or what I wanted it to be/portray) and the first step was to find me a logo. I was sent a selection of designs to choose from. To be honest I liked them all but after much deliberation, I went with this one. Simon then designed and printed my business cards (no stress for me)!

We then set about designing my website, when I say ‘we’. I liked the fact I was very much involved through every stage, we choose the text and the graphics together. As a health and safety company which is quite a dry subject, I wanted to bring it to life and make it interesting for people instead of dreary and dull as health and safety are often perceived. We choose my strapline ‘guiding you down the safety path’ and went from there. I am so pleased with the end result I OFTEN get people commenting on how good my website is and how professional it looks

Social media was a minefield to me, but thanks to ‘Get me Branded’ I have Twitter and a Facebook page and he started me on the road to SEO (my most recent post got a reach of 9,036 people - wow)!

Simon has also helped me design leaflets for my most recent marketing campaign. He is always at the end of the phone when I have a query or question (normally when I’m trying to do my blog). He is patient and his technical knowledge is brilliant. I always get a quick answer and solution!

Still a new business, I can honestly say, I couldn’t have done it without ‘Get me Branded’. And the work continues, through the ever-changing world of technology and business it is very much still a work in progress and I will definitely continue to work with ‘Get me Branded’
